How to Pay Less When DreamHost Renews
- Pick the longest intro term you are comfortable with: the discounted rate is locked for the whole term.
- Set a reminder a few weeks before renewal and check whether a current sale beats the regular rate.
- Compare the 5-year total, not just the first-month price, when choosing between plans or hosts.
- Turn off add-ons you no longer use (backups, security, domain privacy) before the renewal invoice is issued.
