ChemiCloud cancellations are submitted through a form in the Client Area and processed by its Billing department. Only the account owner can cancel.

Refund rules

  • Window: 45 days for shared, WordPress, reseller, email, and Managed WordPress hosting; 7 days for VPS. The clock starts when the account is activated, not when you ordered.
  • First-time accounts only: If you had an account before, opened a second account, or bought a second similar service, you are not eligible.
  • Not covered: Add-ons such as dedicated IPs, SSL certificates, and resource boosts; domain fees (registration, transfer, ID protection); paid support or migrations; bandwidth overages; Enterprise Managed WordPress; and account credit.
  • Renewals: Not covered by the guarantee. After it, ChemiCloud has a no-refund policy, except for unexpected renewals (below).

Back up first

Once a hosting service is cancelled, the account is removed from the server and cannot be restored. Download your files, databases, and email before you submit the form.

How to cancel

  1. Log in to your Client Area and go to Services.
  2. Click Manage Product, and under Actions, click Request Cancellation.
  3. Describe your reason and choose the cancellation type:

- Immediate: The service is cancelled and terminated at the next daily system run at 9 AM EST. A request at 8 AM ends it the same day; a request after 9 AM ends it the next morning. - End of Billing Period: The service stays active until its due date, then is cancelled automatically.

The Billing team confirms when the cancellation is complete.

Charged for a renewal you did not expect?

ChemiCloud refunds unexpected renewals if you act quickly:

  1. Submit a cancellation request for the service.
  2. Open a Billing ticket within 7 days of the renewal date (shared, WordPress, reseller, and Managed WordPress hosting).

You can take the refund to your original payment method minus 10% for fees, or in full as account credit that never expires.

Moving to another host?

Move your site and email first. Compare five-year costs on the ChemiCloud renewal price page, or see ChemiCloud against SiteGround and Hostinger.
