You cancel HostArmada from My Services in the Client Area. To get your money back, you must cancel within the guarantee window and choose immediate cancellation.

Refund rules

  • Window: 45 days after shared hosting becomes active; 7 days for VPS and Dedicated CPU servers.
  • Cancellation type: Only an immediate cancellation inside the window qualifies.
  • Covered: Initial orders. Renewal payments are not covered by the money-back guarantee.
  • Never refunded: Domains and add-ons. A registered domain stays yours until it expires.

Back up first

After a shared hosting account is cancelled, HostArmada keeps a copy for no more than 5 days, then deletes it and all its backups permanently. For VPS and dedicated servers, it is 24 hours. Download your files, databases, and email before you cancel.

How to cancel

  1. Log in to the Client Area and open My Services.
  2. Find the service and click the trash can (delete) icon.
  3. On the cancellation page, give your reason and choose the cancellation type:

- Immediate: The service is cancelled right away once HostArmada approves the request. Choose this for a refund. - End of billing period: No renewal invoice is created, and the service is cancelled when it expires.

You can also cancel by opening a ticket with HostArmada's Billing department.

Domains

Domains cannot be cancelled immediately; they only end at the end of their billing period. You can transfer a domain to another registrar instead.

Moving to another host?

Migrate first, then cancel. Compare five-year costs on the HostArmada renewal price page, or see HostArmada against ChemiCloud.
