FastComet only accepts cancellation requests submitted through its Client Area. You choose whether your account is suspended right away or at the end of the billing period.

Refund rules

FastComet's Cancellation and Refunds terms (last updated October 2025) say:

  • Window: The hosting fee from your initial payment is refunded if the cancellation becomes effective within 30 days for a shared hosting account. Some FastComet promotional pages mention 45 days, but the terms and plan cards say 30.
  • No refunds: For Cloud VPS and dedicated servers.
  • Deducted: Setup and processing fees, and the domain registration or transfer fee if you got a domain with your order, even if it was free at the time.
  • Non-refundable: Cloud Apps, licenses, and add-ons (you can ask Billing for an exception within 24 hours of activation or 48 hours of a renewal).
  • Renewals: Refundable only if you cancel before the renewal term begins. Renewal fees are charged 3 days before the due date.
  • Payment method: Refunds go to the original payment source, or to your account credit if that fails.

Back up first

FastComet keeps a cancelled shared hosting account for no more than 5 days after the cancellation takes effect, then deletes it with all its backups. For Cloud VPS and dedicated servers, data can be deleted within 24 hours.

How to cancel

  1. Log in to the Client Area at my.fastcomet.com.
  2. Go to Products → My Products.
  3. On your plan, click View details → Request Cancellation.
  4. In the Cancellation Type drop-down, choose when it takes effect: immediately, or End of Billing Period. Add a reason if you like, and submit.

To stop a renewal you were not planning on, submit the request at least 24 hours before 11:59 AM EDT on the renewal date.

Paying by PayPal?

FastComet cannot cancel a PayPal subscription for you. In PayPal, go to Settings → Payment Settings → Preapproved Payments, select FastComet, and click Cancel Subscription.

Moving to another host?

Move your site first. Compare five-year costs on the FastComet renewal price page, or see FastComet against SiteGround and Hostinger.
