How to Cancel ScalaHosting and Get a Refund (Anytime Guarantee)
How to request cancellation in the ScalaHosting client dashboard, how the 30-day full refund and anytime partial refund work, and what is never refundable.

ScalaHosting only accepts cancellations placed from the client dashboard. Emailed requests do not count, and you keep being billed until a proper request is placed.
Refund rules
ScalaHosting's "anytime money-back guarantee" covers web hosting, reseller hosting, and VPS hosting:
- Within 30 days of purchase: A full refund.
- After 30 days: A partial refund for the unused portion of the service, at any time after activation.
- New clients only: New orders from existing clients do not qualify.
- Free domain: If you take the 30-day refund, you pay for the free domain at its normal price.
- Never refunded: Dedicated servers, SSL certificates, domain registrations, renewals, and transfers, and software licenses or custom installs.
- Terms violations cancel the refund policy.
Back up first
Download your files, databases, and email before you cancel, and move your domain's DNS if it points to ScalaHosting.
How to cancel
- Log in to the client dashboard.
- Click My services, then Manage on the service.
- Click Request cancellation.
Cancellation requests can take up to 7 days to complete, so place yours well before the renewal date. ScalaHosting's terms do not say how to request the refund itself, so ask support when you cancel.
