ChemiCloud's Migrations department moves sites from other hosts for free. You open a ticket from the Client Area, the team copies your site, and you switch nameservers when it is ready. Your site and email keep running from your old host in the meantime.
What the free migration covers
- Deadline: Request it within 60 days of your order being activated. After that, migrations are charged.
- cPanel hosts: Up to 200 cPanel accounts, including website files, MySQL databases, and email.
- Other hosts: Up to 10 non-cPanel accounts (files and databases) and up to 10 non-cPanel email accounts, which are copied over IMAP.
- Not included: Transferring your domain name. That is a separate process.
Extra or late migrations start at $10 per cPanel account or $10 per non-cPanel website, with discounts for larger batches.

Step 1: Submit a migration ticket
- Log in to your Client Area.
- Click the Support icon in the left menu.
- Click Submit Ticket and select the Migrations department.
- Fill in the details the migration request form asks for.
Step 2: Let the team move the site
A migration expert logs in to your current host. From a cPanel host, they make a full cPanel backup and restore it on ChemiCloud. From other hosts, they copy files and databases with tools such as FTP, SSH, and MySQL exports. They then check that nothing was lost and set up the DNS zone for you. Progress updates arrive in your ticket.
Step 3: Point your domain
When the team says it is done, change your domain's nameservers to ChemiCloud's. Your sites start loading from ChemiCloud within 24 hours as DNS updates.
