How to Migrate a WordPress Site to FastComet (Free Website Transfer)
How to request FastComet's free website transfer with a support ticket, what access details to include, and how it handles cPanel and non-cPanel hosts.

- migration
FastComet's technical support team moves websites to its servers for free and checks that they are configured properly. You start the transfer with a support ticket.
What the free transfer covers
- From a cPanel host: FastComet moves your existing cPanel hosting account to a new account at FastComet, with zero downtime to your sites.
- From a host without cPanel: FastComet transfers up to three sites and/or databases for free, depending on your plan.

Step 1: Open a support ticket
Log in to your FastComet Client Area and submit a ticket to the support team asking for a website transfer.
Step 2: Include your access details
Add these to the ticket:
- FTP details, so the team can transfer your website's files.
- Control panel details, so the team can transfer your database.
Step 3: Wait for updates
The team starts the transfer shortly after your ticket arrives and keeps you updated. FastComet does not give an exact timeframe; it depends on the size of your site.
Step 4: Point your domain
When the transfer is done and the site checks out, point your domain to FastComet. If you also transfer the domain registration to FastComet, the transfer is free and comes with a year of free renewal.
