How to Cancel WPX Hosting and Get a Refund (30-Day Guarantee)

You cancel a WPX hosting plan with a cancellation request from that plan's Control Panel. Inside the first 30 days, that request is also how you get a full refund; WPX cannot issue one without it.

Refund rules

• Window: A full refund if you cancel within 30 days of buying a hosting plan. On an annual plan bought January 1, for example, you have until January 31.
• Monthly plans: Only the first monthly payment is refundable.
• Renewals: Not refundable.
• Minimum: The purchase must be over $5 (excluding VAT).
• Not refundable: Domain registrations, renewals, and completed transfers; billing-cycle changes. During promotional campaigns, refund terms may be different.
• Paid services: Express migrations and paid site optimization are refunded in full only if WPX cannot complete them. A domain-change migration is not refunded if you gave the wrong domain.

WPX can refuse a refund if it judges the policy is being abused.

Before you cancel

• Stop recurring payments: If this plan is your only WPX service, cancel any PayPal subscription in PayPal and remove saved cards, so you are not charged again.
• Back up your site: WPX says it cannot retrieve data after your account is closed. It may keep account backups for up to 90 days, but download your own copy first.

How to cancel

1. Log in to your WPX account.
2. Click Control Panel next to the plan you want to cancel.
3. Select Plan Details.
4. Click the three-dot button for more options.
5. Select Request Cancellation, complete the Cancellation Request form, and submit it.
