GoDaddy sells Managed Hosting for WordPress in three tiers. The checkout itself is quick; the decisions that matter are the term length and whether you start fresh or import an existing site right after paying.
Before you start: compare the renewal prices
As of October 2026, our plan data for GoDaddy Managed Hosting for WordPress shows:
| Plan | Intro price (36 months) | Renewal price | Websites | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $6.99/mo | $14.99/mo | 1 | 10 GB |
| Deluxe | $8.99/mo | $19.99/mo | 1 | 20 GB |
| Ultimate | $12.99/mo | $26.99/mo | 1 | 30 GB |
Every tier is priced for one website, so the upgrades buy storage and features rather than more sites. The GoDaddy renewal price page shows the five-year cost of each plan.
Step 1: Choose a plan and term
Open GoDaddy's WordPress hosting page, pick a plan, and choose the billing term in the cart. Longer terms lower the monthly price, and the whole term is charged upfront.
The term also decides your refund window. Under GoDaddy's refund policy, annual and longer plans can be refunded within 30 days of the transaction, but plans shorter than a year (monthly, 6-month, 9-month) only within 48 hours.
Step 2: Review the cart
Check the domain, any add-ons, and the term before paying. If the plan includes a free domain and you later cancel, GoDaddy deducts the domain's full list price from your refund.
Step 3: Create your account and pay
Sign in or create a GoDaddy account, enter your payment details, and complete the order.
Step 4: Start your site
After checkout, the confirmation page has a Continue button that starts site setup. From there you can build a new WordPress site, or choose Import an existing WordPress site to move one from another host. Our GoDaddy migration guide walks through that option, including choosing a data center close to your visitors.
