InMotion's shared WordPress plans come with large NVMe storage allowances and one of the longest money-back windows in hosting. The main decision before checkout is the term, because InMotion prices the 1-year and 3-year terms differently.

Before you start: compare terms and plans

As of October 2026, InMotion's WordPress shared hosting page lists:

Plan1-year term3-year termRenews at (3-year)WebsitesStorage
WP Launch$5.29/mo$5.49/mo$14.49/mo2100 GB
WP Power$6.29/mo$6.49/mo$18.49/mo10200 GB
WP Pro$11.29/mo$11.49/mo$25.49/mo40300 GB

The 1-year term has the lower intro price, but it renews higher ($15.49/mo on WP Launch). The 3-year term costs a little more up front and renews lower. The InMotion renewal price page shows the five-year cost of each plan.

Step 1: Choose a plan and term

On InMotion's WordPress hosting page, pick the term first (1 month, 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years), then the plan. WP Launch allows two websites; choose WP Power if you plan to run more.

Step 2: Understand the free domain

A free domain credit comes with 12, 24, and 36-month plans. It covers the first year of a .com, .org, .net, .info, or .biz domain, which then renews at the standard rate. If you cancel during the guarantee period, InMotion deducts the standard domain registration fee from your refund.

Step 3: Review add-ons and pay

Leave unticked any add-ons you have not decided on: add-ons, domain fees, and professional services are not refundable. Then create your account and pay.

Step 4: Set up WordPress or move your site

After checkout you manage your account from InMotion's Account Management Panel (AMP). Start a fresh WordPress site, or submit a Website Transfer Request in AMP to have InMotion move an existing one; see our InMotion migration guide.

What to check after you sign up

  • Refund window: Shared and WordPress hosting plans have a 90-day money-back guarantee. Our InMotion cancellation guide explains how to use it.
  • Auto-renew: Find it under Billing → My Subscriptions in AMP.
