Rocket.net only accepts cancellations as a ticket in its client portal at control.rocket.net. Phone, email, and fax requests are not accepted.

Refund rules

  • 30-day money-back guarantee: Covers all services except Enterprise hosting plans. Rocket.net's pricing FAQ says it refunds with no questions asked if you are not satisfied.
  • Annual prepayments: The terms also allow a refund of the remaining funds on an annual prepayment within 90 days of sign-up.
  • Everything else: Payments are non-refundable, including setup fees, and fees for service up to your cancellation notice are not refunded.
  • Terms violations: An account terminated for breaking the terms gets no partial refund.

Before you cancel

  • Timing: Submit the cancellation at least 7 days before your next billing date. Later than that, you pay for the next billing period.
  • Unpaid invoices: Pay any past-due invoices first; Rocket.net will not process the cancellation until they are paid.
  • Who can cancel: Only the authorized account holder, with all account information.
  • Backups: Download your site files and database before the account closes.

How to cancel

  1. Log in to the client portal at control.rocket.net.
  2. Open a support ticket asking to cancel your account or plan.
  3. If you are inside 30 days, or prepaid annually within the last 90 days, ask for the refund in the same ticket.

Moving to another host?

Move the site and DNS first, then cancel. Compare five-year costs on the Rocket.net renewal price page, or see Rocket.net against Kinsta and WP Engine.
