DreamHost's WordPress Hosting plans are Launch, Growth, and Scale. The plan cards show both the intro price and the renewal price, which makes the decision easier than at most hosts, but the lowest price depends on how long you prepay.

Before you start: compare the terms

As of October 2026, DreamHost's WordPress page lists these 4-year prices:

PlanFirst 4 yearsRenews atWebsitesMonthly visits
Launch$1.99/mo ($95.52 upfront)$7.99/mo25~40K
Growth$3.49/mo ($167.52 upfront)$8.99/mo50~200K
Scale$7.99/mo ($383.52 upfront)$19.99/mo100~400K

Shorter terms cost more per month and renew higher. On DreamHost's hosting page, Launch on a 1-year term is $2.89/mo, renewing at $10.99/mo. The DreamHost renewal price page compares the five-year cost.

Step 1: Choose a plan and subscription length

On DreamHost's WordPress page, pick the subscription length first, then the plan. The full term plus tax is charged at checkout.

Step 2: Check the extras

  • Domain: A free first-year domain comes with eligible annual and multi-year plans. Domain renewal costs extra.
  • Email: WordPress Hosting includes a three-month email trial; after that, email is billed separately. DreamPress includes email.

Step 3: Create your account and pay

Click Choose this plan, complete the cart, create your DreamHost account, and pay.

Step 4: Add your site

Once your account is ready, install WordPress from the DreamHost panel, or use the Liftoff AI website builder included with the plan to generate a starter site. Moving an existing site? DreamHost offers a free automated migration plugin, covered in our DreamHost migration guide.

What to check after you sign up

  • Refund window: Shared hosting can be refunded in full if cancelled within 30 days of opening the account. Our DreamHost cancellation guide explains the credit-versus-refund rule.
  • Email trial end date: Decide before the three months are up whether to pay for email.

Still deciding? Compare DreamHost with Bluehost, SiteGround, and Hostinger, or see every plan on the DreamHost price table.
