Hosting.com (formerly A2 Hosting) sells Managed WordPress in four plans: Small, Medium, Advanced, and Turbo. The platform is built with Rocket.net, so every plan gets the same Cloudflare Enterprise CDN, WP Rocket, and Object Cache Pro. What changes is the number of sites, the storage, and how long you prepay.
Before you start: compare the terms
As of October 2026, Hosting.com's Managed WordPress plans cost:
| Plan | 3-year term | 1-year term | Monthly | Sites | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | $3.49/mo ($125.62 upfront) | $4.49/mo ($53.87) | $9.99/mo | 1 | 20 GB |
| Medium | $3.99/mo ($143.65 upfront) | $4.99/mo ($59.89) | $17.99/mo | 5 | 50 GB |
| Advanced | $9.49/mo ($341.60 upfront) | $10.99/mo ($131.89) | $25.99/mo | 15 | 100 GB |
| Turbo | $13.49/mo ($485.59 upfront) | $14.99/mo ($179.88) | $34.99/mo | 50 | 200 GB |
Hosting.com says its promotional prices are for new orders only. Renewals bill at standard rates, with longer terms discounted against the monthly price. The Hosting.com renewal price page works out the five-year cost.
Step 1: Choose a plan and billing term
On the Managed WordPress page, pick a plan and a term. Every plan includes free migrations, daily backups with 14-day retention, staging, and a free SSL certificate.
Email is not included. Managed WordPress has no email hosting, so if you need a mailbox on your domain, budget for Hosting.com's separate email plans or a provider like Google Workspace.
Step 2: Create your account and pay
Complete checkout. Your plan then appears in the Hosting Panel at my.hosting.com, where you manage sites, billing, and support tickets.
Step 3: Create your first site
- Log in to the Hosting Panel and click Managed WordPress in the left sidebar.
- On My Websites, click Add Website.
- Enter a Site name/label and pick a Location close to you. Visitors are served through Cloudflare, so the location mostly affects how fast wp-admin feels for you.
- Fill in Admin Username (not "admin"), Admin Password, and Admin Email.
- Leave Multisite Support off unless you are building a Multisite network, then click Create Website.
The site starts on a temporary URL so you can build or migrate before switching your domain. Moving an existing site? Hosting.com migrates it for free; see our Hosting.com migration guide.
Step 4: Go live
When the site is ready, open it from My Websites → Manage, click Get Started under Ready to go live?, enter your domain, and add the TXT (SSL) and A/CNAME records it shows at your DNS provider. DNS can take up to 24 hours to update.
What to check after you sign up
- Refund window: 30 days from your initial purchase. See our Hosting.com cancellation guide.
- Auto-renewal: Hosting.com charges renewals 3 days before the renewal date, and hosting plans cannot be set to manual renewal.
