How to Sign Up for InterServer Web Hosting (2026 Guide)
What to know before buying InterServer's single Standard Web Hosting plan: the same intro rate on every term, the renewal price, DirectAdmin, and the 30-day refund window.

InterServer keeps things simple: one Standard Web Hosting plan that runs WordPress and other apps. The term you pick changes how much you pay up front, not the intro rate.
Before you start: one plan, four terms
As of October 2026, InterServer's web hosting page lists:
| Term | Pay today | Then renews at |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $2.50 | $7/month |
| 6 months | $15 | $42 |
| 12 months | $30 | $84 |
| 24 months | $60 | $168 |
Every term works out to $2.50 a month at first, and every renewal to $7 a month. The plan includes unlimited storage, data transfer, and email accounts, weekly backups, and free Cloudflare CDN. See the InterServer renewal price page for the five-year cost.
Step 1: Pick a term
Longer terms do not lower the monthly intro rate here; they only lock it in for longer. Choose the length you are comfortable prepaying.
Step 2: Know the control panel
The Standard plan uses DirectAdmin, not cPanel. InterServer sells cPanel hosting as a separate plan. This matters if you want InterServer's free migration: it only covers moves between matching panels (DirectAdmin to DirectAdmin, or cPanel to cPanel).
Step 3: Add a domain if you need one
InterServer offers domain registration or transfer for $7.99 with any web hosting package.
Step 4: Check out
Click Buy Web Hosting, complete the order, and pay. You manage the account from InterServer's customer portal afterwards.
Step 5: Install WordPress or move your site
The plan includes one-click installers for 461 scripts, WordPress among them. To bring an existing site, see our InterServer migration guide.
What to check after you sign up
- Refund window: Web hosting accounts can be refunded in full within 30 days of sign-up. Our InterServer cancellation guide has the details.
- Renewal price: Budget for $7 a month after your first term.
